Studies in the science of law at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen. After having passed his second legal state examination in Hannover in 1979, Dr. Börner joined Wollmann & Partner. Here, he is, inter alia, responsible for the domains of real estate, condominium and property development law, commercial and corporate law, as well as sports law. Since 1988 until 2020, Dr. Börner has also acted as a notary. From 1989 to 2013, Dr. Börner was a member of the Board of the Chamber of Lawyers Berlin, and from 1991 to 2013, he was a member of the Executive Committee of the Chamber of Lawyers Berlin (treasurer). From 2000 to 2009, Dr. Börner was a member of the Executive Committee of the State Sports Association and responsible for all legal issues arising there.
